Hi all,

My names is Melissa Gillies, im 20 years old and Im trying to raise $10,000 so I am able to volunteer in South Africa.

I am going through a company called Student Partnerships Worldwide, and while they pay the costs involved, in order to be able to participate in the program you have to pledge to raise the $10,000.

The program itself is an 11 month program, based in the rural Xhosa communities and its called a Youth Empowerment Program. While there I will be required to be a peer educator, and support, educate and empower the local youth.

This is such a dream to be able to do this and hopefully people will support me in doing this.
